Black Star Puppies

________________________________________________________________________________

We typically produce two litters of puppies a year.  If you are interested in a puppy please contact us several months in advance. Typically half of the litter will be spoken for before the breeding is scheduled. A $200 deposit will reserve your new hunting companion

Our puppies will only be placed in responsible and loving homes, dedicated to developing their puppy to its maximum potential. We believe that AKC and NAVHDA testing and competitive field trialing offer a great opportunity to evaluate our breeding program, and such homes will be given preference. Our pups find homes all across the country, so all of our pups are required be evaluated under independent judgement in a sanctioned  NAVHDA Natural Ability test before reaching 16 months of age. This helps us gain a greater understanding of what each breeding produces.

. We take great care in assessing the litter and understanding each future puppy owner's personal requirements. We then try to best match the right puppy for each home. This allows us to ensure that the puppy with the longest hair coat does not end up in the Sonoran Dessert,  or that the boldest, most independent puppy does not end up going to a home that may struggle gaining control and respect.

Our puppies are  all NAVHDA and AKC registered. They will be well socialized, exposed to birds, water, cover, and will be given many opportunities to explore the outdoors. We fully guarantee our dogs to be free of  genetic health conditions for 24 months.

Puppies can be picked locally at 8 weeks of age. Ground or air transport can be arranged from Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.
